Hi, I'm Keith!
I have been in practice for more than 20 years with hundreds of clients from many places, cultures and background. My work is to bring forth healing and transformation through the synthesis of transpersonal psychology and the wisdom and awareness practices of spiritual traditions.
Together, we take a walk through your personal journey,
observe your individuality within the wider realms of Nature and humanity, understand how your work and your creativity flows,
and seek to deepen your connection to Soul through an exploration of what connects us most deeply with a sense of love and belonging.

Psychosynthesis, is an approach to living based in the deepest natural rhythm and quality of space. From a psychology and psychotherapy perspective that includes the transpersonal dimension. Often referred to as ‘psychology with soul’, the method is characterised by a non-dogmatic openness, and draws upon many of the world’s spiritual wisdom traditions for its model of human development and evolution. Its main focus is upon the ‘synthesis of the parts’ in order to create a whole, at the personal level, in relationships and within larger contexts.
You can find out about Psychosynthesis in greater detail on this page – Psychosynthesis
I work with adults of all ages and backgrounds who feel a desire to find and embrace the purpose and meaning of their life, and to move into an experience of true fullness and harmony with all aspects of life. Often the calling to Soul is experienced as a personal crisis (or crises), making itself known through what we would commonly refer to as ‘symptoms,’ or sometimes traumatic experiences. Although previous experience of therapy it not a prerequisite, the majority of clients I work with have had some prior engagement with either a therapeutic modality, a system of healing, or commitment to spiritual practice and related traditions.
I have found Psychosynthesis to be an effective, adaptable and compassionate container for many of the themes and symptoms that many people seek assistance with, without the need to deny any aspect of our experience. Issues I am experienced in working with include; abuse, despair, hopelessness & depression, fear & anxiety, life transitions, loss & bereavement, spiritual crisis, relationships, anger, men’s issues & maleness, addiction & dependency, sex, gender & sexuality, stress, overwhelm, work issues and spiritual emergence.

Michael Carroll describes supervision as a way of seeing things differently, literally applying a ‘super-vision’ that brings new eyes, new perceptions and new vision to the work: a super way of visioning. This super-vision involves being prepared to take on new ways of seeing. In attempting to see with new eyes, the supervisor attends to the professional needs of the supervisee as well as to the work and the manner in which it is undertaken. Crucially, this endeavour to ‘see’ also applies to the supervisee’s inner processes, including their experience of themselves in the work as well as their shifting perceptions of these events and encounters. In supervision the supervisor’s role is to see the world through the eyes of the supervisee and to see it bigger, more broadly. Ultimately, when entering the world of supervisees, the supervisor is also entering the world beyond them: the world of the organisation and the community whom the supervisee serves. And to whom the supervisee and supervisor are ultimately accountable.
I offer regular Supervision to a wide variety of people, the majority of whom work in some capacity within the general field of health and healing. Although I supervise many therapists, I do not work exclusively with those who have had a formal training in this area. The benefits of this kind of work are also applicable to anyone who seeks to bring a Soulful approach to their work with others, or to the functioning of organisation.
The work I offer is based upon my many years experience as both therapist and supervisor, which has included work within institutions, as well as private practice. One of the issues I encounter most frequently when working with supervisees is the need to be authentic in one’s role, whatever that may be. The necessity for approaching whatever work we are engaged in from a stance of true integrity. Acting for the greater good needs to be in alignment with our personal vision, and navigating the many institutional, cultural, and socio-political forces which can impinge upon one’s practice is a challenging skill to master in these times. As a result of the various constraints which can affect individuals and organisations alike, we ask the question – what skills and capacities are you (or your organisation) not using?

Mindfulness encompasses two key ingredients: awareness and acceptance. Awareness is the knowledge and ability to focus attention on one’s inner processes and experiences, such as the experience of the present moment. Acceptance is the ability to observe and accept—rather than judge or avoid—those streams of thought. To live mindfully is to live in the moment and reawaken oneself to the present, rather than dwelling on the past or anticipating the future.
To be mindful is to observe and label thoughts, feelings, sensations in the body in an objective manner. Mindfulness can therefore be a tool to avoid self-criticism and judgment while identifying and managing difficult emotions.

Heal your whole self and embrace your purpose in life
The calling to Soul is often experienced as a personal crisis or traumatic experience and we are left questioning life: Who am I? Why am I here? Using Psychosynthesis, we work together to accept every experience without judgement and heal by integrating fragmented pieces of your self into alignment with your complete well-being. Step into your whole being – body, mind and spirit – and live a meaningful and purposeful life.

Embody your authentic self in the professional world
How do you engage in your work from a stance of true integrity? Acting for the greater good needs to be in alignment with our personal vision, but navigating the institutional, cultural, and socio-political forces is challenging. With Consultative Supervision, we re-envision the inner processes around work and the external contexts of the organisation from a place of authenticity. Be empowered to fulfil your true potential and bring untapped talent to your work.

Access your innate genius through natural mindfulness
Mindfulness offers not only a means to self-regulate and calm the body-mind and nervous system, but also an opportunity to vision and enact our higher and deeper capabilities, ideally in service to life, in a spirit of compassionate openness. Mindfulness guides us by unmaking the conditioning overlying our never-absent natural mindfulness, and opens us beyond ourselves, to our true genius, a genius for life, for all life.
